The PROTECTEUROPE project aims to address the hesitancy towards HPV vaccination in Europe, in order to increase vaccine uptake and eliminate HPV-caused cervical, anal, vaginal, penile, head and neck cancers. To achieve this, the project focuses on two levels: providing individualized communication training for healthcare professionals and offering campaign tools targeted at young people and their parents. These tools will be designed to be used on different platforms, such as social networks, websites, posters and leaflets, and will explore the potential of sport, specifically soccer, as an influencer. Particular attention will be paid to addressing equality and diversity issues.
