Public Health

Fisabio-Public Health responds to the need to delve deeper into various areas of scientific knowledge in the broad field of public health, being in charge of implementing the policy of the Department of Health of the Valencian Community in relation to research in this field.

The purpose of the center is to provide scientific support to health policies within the framework of community public health. It represents the effort of the Generalitat Valenciana to support applied and translational research in public health, with the aim of obtaining new knowledge and tools that allow increasing the level of health of the population.

Fisabio-Public Health is a unique center in its field since it combines research in various areas of epidemiology with experimental research. This combination allows for the creation of synergies between multiple areas of knowledge, generating multidisciplinary approaches to public health problems.
